Own a miniature cast of Fern the Diplodocus

Experience the convergence of art, science and engineering with a strictly limited-edition miniature cast of Fern – our pioneering bronze Diplodocus masterpiece.

Born from an exceptional collaboration between us, Structure Workshop and Factum Arte, Fern is a testament to unprecedented design, craftsmanship and scientific innovation.

Inspired by the evolutionary adaptations of sauropods, the collaborative hollowed out the bronze bones of the replica to emulate the air sacs and internal struts found in actual dinosaur skeletons. Steel cables serve as tendons, threading through Fern’s long neck and tail to allow the structure to flex and respond to the wind – a pioneering achievement never before realised in a dinosaur cast.

Factum Arte – a globally acclaimed collective celebrated for its groundbreaking work in art conservation and reproduction – led the artistic process. Working in close collaboration with our leading palaeontologist Professor Paul Barrett, they refined historical inaccuracies in the original cast – known informally as Dippy – and perfected its anatomical details. The result is one of the most scientifically accurate Diplodocus replicas to date.

Now, a strictly limited number of exquisite miniature casts of Fern are available, offering a rare opportunity for discerning collectors to acquire this extraordinary fusion of heritage and creative mastery.

Each purchase directly supports our mission to safeguard and champion the planet’s natural wonders.

Private viewings of Fern can be arranged by appointment.
