Summary
I have worked at the Natural History Museum for over 20 years gaining practical experience in collections management in different roles. In my current position as the Museum's Registrar I have overall responsibility for writing the policies and procedures associated with the Museum's large and varied collection. I also manage the Museum's compliance with legislation associated with acquiring, borrowing, lending, displaying and disposing of the colletions; I also ensure the Museum's activities meet the standards required by the Museum Accreditation Scheme. My particular interests are in collections management and the legislation and regulation that affects the variety of collections held by the Museum which includes everything from art works to endangered species and diamonds to our humans ancestors.
