I am the Senior Curator in Charge for General Herbarium I (gymnosperms, "basal" angiosperms, monocots, and non-core eudicots until the Vitales) and also supervising Gen. Herb. II and Pteridophytes.

My research interests mainly cover plant taxonomy (Fagales, Cucurbitaceae, Boraginales) and the history of botany, but also extend to phylogenetics, plant morphology, and pollination biology.
