Fishy faces, fur and feathers

On #NHM_Live this month, meet some faces that only an ichthyologist could love and find out about the latest research on furry pterosaurs.

In this episode, Amy Scott-Murray from the Museum's Imaging and Analysis Centre talked through the process of digitisation, using a handheld structured light scanner to create a computer model of a Megalodon tooth.

Kieran Miles was also in the Attenborough Studio, discussing recent research on furry pterosaurs.

Discover the secrets of the ancient humans of Gough's Cave, catch a roundup of some of the latest natural history news and try to guess the identity of the mystery specimen of the month.

This #NHM_Live was broadcast on Wednesday 23 January 2019.
