Hintze Hall closures

Between now and the summer of 2017, Hintze Hall will be reimagined to lay bare the relationship between humans and the natural world. During these works, some areas of the hall will close to the public and some specimens will be removed temporarily.

  • The first floor balcony will be closed from 11 April 2016 to 31 October 2016.
  • The wonderbays around the Diplodocus will be closed from 3 October 2016.
  • The ground floor will be closed from January 2017 until the summer.

In the run-up to these closures we may also need to remove some specimens in order to prepare for further works.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.
