The Museum is easily accessible by public transport and has two free car parks, one adjacent to the Museum accessed from Akeman Street and the other from Hastoe Lane. Use the information below to help plan your journey.
The Museum car parks fill quickly during busy periods and we encourage visitors to use the local town car parks if the Museum ones are full.
Due to poor ground conditions the car park and coach park on Hastoe Lane are currently closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Regular train services run to Tring station. The station is about two miles from the Museum, which can be reached by bus or taxi.

Tring is on the A41, 30 miles north west of London. From the M25 exit Junction 20.
Free parking is available at the Museum, though during half terms and other busy periods it may not be possible to find a space. Alternative cars parks in town are marked on the map above.
