The Mbaracayú Natural Forest Reserve

The Mbaracayú Natural Forest Reserve (Reserva Natural del Bosque de Mbaracayú, RNBM) is situated in the north-eastern part of the Oriental region of Paraguay in the department of Canindeyú.

The Reserve covers an area of approximately 600 square kilometres at between 150-500 metres above sea level. Approximately 80 per cent of the area of the RNBM is covered with Atlantic Forest.
