Classification and/or Status Subjective junior synonym of Galeropygus sublaevis (M'Coy, 1848)
Remarks See revision by Barras (2006).  Differs from the type of Galeropygus sublaevis only in having a slightly asymmetrical peristome.  There are no other specimens to determine whether this is a consistent difference, and Barras (2006) treated the two as synonymous.
