Type | Holotype: NHM E19867 |
Classification and/or Status | Subjective junior synonym of Galeropygus sublaevis (M'Coy, 1848) |
Remarks | See revision by Barras (2006). Differs from the type of Galeropygus sublaevis only in having a slightly asymmetrical peristome. There are no other specimens to determine whether this is a consistent difference, and Barras (2006) treated the two as synonymous. Barras, C. G. 2006. British Jurassic Regular echinoids.
