• Test depressed and low conical in profile.
• Apical disc relatively large and pentalobate; plating not preserved.

Monotypic, subjective junior synonym of Temnotrema.

Based on specimens that are extremely small (none bigger than 3 mm diameter) and probably represent juveniles. Jeannet in Lambert & Jeannet (1935) established this as a subgenus of Dicoptella distinguished by having an adradial pit above the primary interambulacral tubercle. However, this represents the adradial ambulacral pit and is present in other species of  Dicoptella: it is simply the small size of the specimen that makes these almost as large as the other pits. Mortensen (1943) retained this genus as distinct, on the basis of its rather large and irregular sutural pits.

Given the very small size of the type series, there seems nothing to distinguish this from Dicoptella, a junior subjective synonym of Temnotrema.
