Diagnostic Features
  • Ambulacral plating simple above the ambitus and pore-pairs uniserial; pore-pairs offset in triads over oral surface.
  • Apical disc compact, tetrabasal, with four large gonopores; genital plates 1 and 4 abut behind genital plate 2.
Distribution Danian, western Europe.
Type Holotype: University of Lyon Palaeontological Collections EM 12137.
Classification and/or Status Subjective junior synonym of Adelopneustes montainvillensis (Sorignet, 1850) - see Smith & Jeffery(2000, p. 149).
