This weekend fans of fossils will travel to Lyme Regis for the Evolution Rocks Fossil Festival.
Fossil experts from the Natural History Museum will be there to answer questions and help identify fossils.
Visitors of all ages can take part in free activities such as fossil-hunting walks, talks and workshops.
This year the festival has an evolution theme and is about unearthing the past and understanding what it can tell us about the future.
Coinciding with the 200th Anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth, the festival will also include a variety of talks and other activities on evolution.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast of Lyme Regis is the perfect place for fossil lovers. Its world-famous rocks and fossils reveal the Earth’s history going back more than 200 million years.
